Application specialist microfluidics, PerkinElmer
Jelle Caers graduated in 2010 as a Master of Biochemistry & Biotechnology at the KU Leuven (Belgium). In 2014 he obtained his PhD in Biochemistry & Biotechnology (Lab of Functional Genomics and Proteomics - KU Leuven), with a dissertation on the neuropeptidergic signaling systems in the tsetse fly. Following his PhD, he performed research on neuropeptide signaling in the nematode C. elegans as a postdoc. In 2015 he started as Application Specialist for the Microfluidics product line of PerkinElmer. In this role he offers pre- and post-sales support both for genomics and proteomics applications.
